tehnologija tko hitr napreduje, da je transparentnost podatkov skor nujno zlo na katerga se bo treba slej kot prej navadt. Facebook, kot odprta platforma na katero uporabniki nalagajo poljubne aplikacije al jih pa celo sami izdelajo s pomocjo popflya, ma definitivno svetleco prihodnost, sicer je pa dost zgovorn ze ta podatk da se za nakup pogajajo giganti kot so microsoft, google in yahoo. sicer pa ce te bo fbi lovil, te bo brez skrbi najdu tud brez facebooka ;)..

Ma ok.. Sej teh teorij zarote je ogromno. Ko sem po ogledu, video pokazal svoji deklici, sem pri vrhu tele drame, dojel da so vse te korelacije med ljudmi cisto normalna in malo prenapihnjena drama..

Prakticno za vsakim startupom stoji nek VC ali angel funding, in nic od tega ne pride brez obveznosti. Niti to pomeni, da imajo po defaultu stvar v rokah, tisti, ki so vlozili svoj denar v zadevo seveda s svojimi interesi..

Niti ne vem zakaj se na enkrat zganja taka panika ob takelih lame videih? A sami od sebe niste pomislili, kaj vse bi clovek lahko pocel s tako kolicino osebnih podatkov, in ali ves ta denar vrti samo okrog oglasevanja? Nihce od nas pravzaprav nima in ne bo imel vpogled v borzo s takimi informacijami, vsekakor je pa data mining stvar sedanjosti in se okrog tega vrtijo astronomske kolicine denarja. In tudi okrog tega ne rabi bit frka, dokler se rec uporablja moralno.. Jaz lahko v stvari vidim celo pozitiven efekt - aplikacija (ki ji seveda zaupam, da podatkov ne po podala tretji osebi brez mojega dovoljenja) se na podlagi mojih dosedanjih izkusenj in inputa uci o meni in mojem okusu, in mi po nekem casu zna celo predlagati reci, ki bi mi znale biti vsec oz. zanimive za ogled/branje/nakup/ ali pa me “spozna” z ljudmi, ki bi mi znali biti zanimivi/so zanimivi zame s poslovnega aspekta itd.

Je skoraj z vsako stvarjo tako, da posamezniki, ki drzijo vajeti v rokah odlocajo, ali bodo igrali fer ali ne. Zal je v tem svetu dosti lazje igrati umazano, in od tod tudi taki paranoicni videi.

p.s. Jaz imam zelo spartansko gledanje na te reci. Ce zivis zivljenje tako lagodno in si toliko ignoranten, da zavracas videti realnost okrog sebe, se ne cudi da si postal ovca in te nekdo izkorisca. Ne pravim, da je to prav - pravim samo da se ogromno okrog tega resi ze s tem, ce se izobrazujes, informiras, uporabljas zdravo pamet. Ce bi bila vecina ljudi taka, niti ne bi imelo smisla se trudit nategovat, i guess.. Dejstvo pa da taki ljudje so, pa samo dokazuje darvinovo prezivetje najbolj prilagojenih ;)..

Just to prove my point a little bit further (I usualy don’t know where the line is until I cross it)… This is Facebook’s error message if you try to registed incognito. In fact, this is a real name. Pure evil.

Don’t underestimate human stupidity or ignorance… and MySpace is still the most popular site at the moment. The reason Facebook is being in the spotlight is that it has taken “social linking” to a whole new level, far superior to MySpace. Social linking within blogs is by far less complex than among the Facebook and MySpace users, which makes it far more difficult, if not even impossible, to gather and aggregate information that Facebook admins can extract with one single database query. But let’s not get too technical… The problem is that it is one single system whose creators refuse to provide us with solid information about possible (mis)use. The truth is, they probably don’t know how they’re gonna use it yet and that’s the reason they always respond with political answers. I’m not saying to stop using it. I’m just saying to be careful. After all, there is no free lunch.

Yes, I agree with you. But again, these are still all risk factors that are present on other blogs and networking websites. Facebook is just at the center of the debate because it is the most popular site at the moment. In high school I had friends that were devestated to find their pictures and less than flattering comments on ‘hot or not’ and similar stupid websites. The only point I am trying to make is that the issue of privacy is something that comes into play whenever you do anything over the internet. I think it’s good that this information about Facebook is coming out, but I feel bad for anyone who was ever dumb enough to think that information they put on the web could ever be considered ‘private’.

That’s not the problem, that’s the risk we all are more than aware of. The problem is that most users will just type in anything the system asks them to. These users will then set their profile to “private” and be convinced that nobody can see or use this information, making them far more vurnable than if everything was publicly available. You can also be photo tagged by someone else, even though you do not intent to show people how you look. And even if you decline, the Facebook system knows that it is you on that picture - someone else supplied that information and you have absolutely NO CONTROL over it.

If you don’t want your information on Facebook, don’t put it on. If you don’t want to be on Facebook, don’t join. If you don’t want vulgar photos of you being pulled from the site, don’t post them.

We live in a world that is being taken over by technology in far more ways than Facebook, and just as in real life, what you say or do on the internet can bite you in the ass. Besso- you can attest to that after your post about the conference.

I have had Facebook since it came out and it has proven to be quite helpful for networking in my work as an actor. Obviously it is addictive and if someone could manage to convince me to delete the account it would be a little miracle. But I’m sick of people bitching about Facebook when 99% of these same people blab about their personal lives on similar blogs or myspace.

Ja ti ja… ampak ogromno userjev piše svašta v tiste fielde in natačno opisuje svoj lajf. Svoj profil pol nastavijo na “private” in mislijo, da je to to. Da kao noben nima vpogleda v te podatke, razen njihovih friendov.

pa sej tut če maš že lih fejsbuk račun, te noben nazi ne poliva z vodo in priklapla niple na AC, da bi si mogu vpisat pod mus kdaj si fižol pa čebulo jedu, da ponoč smrčiš in da si ti tisti ki na šihtu nkol vode ne potegne za sabo na skretu.

Valda napišeš publiciraš tisto, kar te ne moti da ostali vedo o tebi, kar ti ne more naprej metat.

Če uporablaš en in isti nick po vseh forumih/gejspejsih/fejsbukih in hkrati na velko trollaš in flejmaš, se pač nimaš za bunt če te kir na cest zašamari :)
