Lamebook.com najbolj spominja na miks legendarnega bash.org in icanhascheezburger.com. Vsebino črpa s Fejsbuka, tako da povzema resnična klepetanja med uporabniki, ki se znotraj sistema smatrajo za “prijatelje”. Zgodbe se seveda pišejo kar same, sajt pa poleg neposredne zabave nosi tudi sporočilo, da je nekatere stvari pametneje reševati “off-line”.

FaltyDL je relativno frišn producent iz New Yorka, čigar prvi album Love Is A Liability je letos poleti izšel za slovito Planet Mu založbo. Muzika s tega albuma je precej mind-blowing, komad Party pa ponudi tudi zelo zanimiv video, ki očitno kaže na neko obskurno retro obsesijo… :)

Who the f*** is Eve anyway?

I'm very happy to announce that the new Dr Rubberfunk album - 'Hot Stone' - is ready, and will be out on Jalapeno Records in late October. It'll be released on vinyl too - I just got the test pressing through and it's sounding great - thanks in no small part to the great mastering job done at Electric Mastering (where they have the old EMI Lagos transfer desk - analogue heaven!)

'Trouble Woman', featuring Roachford, will be the next single release and will come with a remix from the legendary Steinski. Two legends on one track - I can still hardly believe my luck!

Other guests on the LP include the fabulous dutch soulstress Sitzka, and killer Geordie soul man John Turrell (of Smoove & Turrell fame). Todd Simon (Connie Price & The Keystones / The Lions) provides the soul horns on a few tracks, alongside Ben Castle and a raft of other long time Rubberfunk collaborators.

Skratka nova plata. Yuhu. Pa čeprav je bil njegov prvenec The First Cut bistveno boljši od vsega, kar je izdal post-festum, se vsekakor tudi tokrat nadejamo dobrih phonkee/soul viž. In Rubberfunk we trust! :)

In da post ne bo tako dolgočasno izpadel brez kakršnekoli glasbene pokušine prilagam enega izmed njegovih zadnjih promocijskih miksov. Ray Camacho, Connie Price & The Keystones ter ostala družba… delicious!

Tale relativno kratek mix ga je čist odlomu na eni izmed nedavnih Mary Anne Hobbs Experimental radijskih seans na BBC Radio 1. Petnajst minut proper mixanja proper dubstep/grime/garage selekcije. Dežurni krivec Grievous Angel ima trenutno v obtoku tudi nekaj dost odmevne lastne produkcije, med katero velja izpostaviti single Move Down Low / Loser.
